While our wedding isn’t until June 2019, I couldn’t wait any longer to start looking for me wedding dress! I decided to look at Bridal Garden NYC, which is a an amazing non-profit organization who use their proceeds to help disadvantaged children here in NYC. I wanted something a little different, and really loved the idea of a short dress, since we’re getting married in central park in the summer!
Being that cake maker that I am, I thought this would be a great excuse to make a test wedding cake! I made a three tiered cake, incorporating Stephen’s and my favorite flavors; dark chocolate, cookie butter, and salted caramel. I decorated the cake with the two elements I wanted in my wedding dress; lace and floral accents. The recipe for this cake can be found here: www.chelsweets.com
The edible lace powder I used can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/Culpitt-478-Edible-Magic-Decor/dp/B00C296OC0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1521390633&sr=8-2&keywords=magic+decor+edible+cake+lace+mix
The lace mold can be purchased here:https://www.amazon.com/Fondant-Pattern-Silicone-Embossed-Xgunion/dp/B017M1VOVS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1521390609&sr=8-4&keywords=magic+decor+edible+cake+lace+mix
