11 Fall 2019 Wedding Dress Trends You Have to See

SERICHAI TRAIPOOM

Phew, after a whirlwind few days of wedding dresses, champagne, and a lot of glam—Bridal Fashion Week has come to an end. We got a first hand look at what the new crop of 2019 wedding dresses have to offer, and now it’s time to dissect all the wedding dress trends we loved on the runway.

Whether you’re classic, boho, minimal, modern, or glam, there was a little something for every bride this season. While a few of the wedding dress trends that have become classics still remained—off-the-shoulder necklines, long illusion lace sleeves, slip dresses, and 3-D floral embroideries were all present—a new crop of trends definitely emerged. Meghan Markle mania reigned supreme as we saw designers reinterpret the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress and reception dress for 2019 brides. Edwardian-inspired romantic sleeves fluttered down many of the new dresses, and boss babes should take comfort in the bridal power suit. Jumpsuits have nearly become a staple of the bridal wardrobe, and this season we saw the ascendance of the bridal tracksuit—athleisure at its finest!

Separates made a big splash a few seasons ago, and for 2019 designers are betting on brides wanting to go big with sleek versions of a tiny crop top and matching skirt, even giving the look a Meghan Markle–inspired off-the-shoulder treatment. *Above: Wedding separates by BHLDN*
